Screen-printed ephemera and printed matter are employed within Greally’s practice both in performance and as stand alone artefacts. Starting with language, image and text fabricating both fiction and reality, weaving together as one. Printed matter is used as a preliminary method to poetically and theoretically gather impressions for further ways of working which encompass moving image, sound, performance and installation. Within the matter, Joely’s photographic and moving image practice is consulted as well as archival and performative writings.
