Print & Text
I create screen-printed mantras that explore the interplay of absence and reappearance, ritual and euphoria. My work engages with themes like mourning and the queering of motherhood, using textual features to embody shifting binaries, meditative states, and the semiotics of contemporary rituals. Through movement, print, and word, I capture fleeting moments of transformation and boundless potential. The text itself becomes sculptural, interacting with space and form to create a physical presence that shifts meaning. I engage with the semiotics of language, turning the text into both visual and tactile objects, prompting reflection on the fluidity of identity and the boundaries of physical and emotional states.
